A Zimbabwean government official, Marian Chombo, has raised concerns about a potential lost generation due to the pervasiveness of drug and substance abuse in Norton. Chombo, Minister of State for Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and Devolution, visited the Fight Against Substances and Addictions (FASSA) Rehabilitation Centre and witnessed the devastating impact of drug abuse on young people, including educated professionals.
