Commissioner Paul Nyathi, a spokesman for the national police, stated that the event happened on March 18 at approximately 1 a.m.
According to Newsday, 20 unidentified suspects attacked the farm’s security staff while brandishing iron bars, bolt cutters, machetes, rifles, and pistols. After assaulting family members, the suspects broke through burglar screens and forced open doors to enter the family’s house.

Once inside, the attackers took several cell phones, including Samsung models S24, S23, and Galaxy A35, as well as other valuables, and $74,100 in cash and a firearm. Nyathi denounced the violence, stressing the impact on the victims and the seriousness of the crime.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Nyathi stated, “The Zimbabwe Republic Police is requesting information from the public that could help identify and lead to the arrest of the 20 suspects.”
