Zimbabwean rapper Holy Ten went on an explosive Instagram Live rant on Sunday, alleging that President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s twin sons sent soldiers to his home and repossessed gifts previously given to him including a house.

The 26-year-old artist, born Mukudzei Chitsama, had been one of Zanu PF’s most visible celebrity backers during the disputed 2023 elections, campaigning openly for the ruling party. But his loyalty appeared to sour, as he accused Sean and Collins Mnangagwa of orchestrating intimidation tactics.

Holy Ten Mnangagwa sons clash turns personal

In his broadcast, Holy Ten claimed Sean Mnangagwa, a major in the Zimbabwe National Army, dispatched troops to his residence and ordered his wife, Kimberly Richards, to vacate the property.

“Sean, what you did at my house, I’m coming to your house. Make sure you kill me. I’m not afraid of Zanu PF,” he said angrily.

Rapper shifts from ally to critic

Holy Ten said he joined Zanu PF to “clean the reputation” of the party but accused the president’s sons of undermining their father’s leadership. He singled out Collins, saying: “Collins thinks he is loved by the people. Let him start a live right now, let’s see how many people join.”

He went further, warning that he knew where Collins lived and threatened to confront him directly in Harare.

Social media backlash after Holy Ten Mnangagwa sons rant

The tirade quickly ignited debate across Zimbabwe’s social media, with some mocking his abrupt turnaround and others worried about his safety. Hours later, he suspended his Instagram account before reinstating it with a brief apology: “Apologies to my brothers Sean and Collins.”

The Mnangagwa family has not commented publicly on the allegations, and the reason for the fallout remains unclear.
