Zimbabwe’s leading life insurance provider, Econet Life, has announced a new promotion to reward parents and schools that sign up for its Enda Education Cover. The promotion, valued at US$ 30,000, will run until the end of February 2024 and offer school fees vouchers, stationery supplies, and computers as prizes.
Enda Education Cover: A Lifeline for Parents and Children
Econet Life’s Enda Education Cover is a unique product that ensures the continuity of education for children in the event of a parent’s death. The cover, which is managed by Higher Life Foundation and Econet Life, pays the school fees directly to the school, eliminating any third-party interference.
According to Econet Life Chief Life and Principal Officer Mr Godwin Mashiri, the cover is designed to give parents peace of mind and protect their children’s dreams. “We understand the financial burden parents face in ensuring their children receive quality education. The Enda Smart Schools Promotion is our way of alleviating that pressure and giving parents a respite,” he said at the launch of the promotion.
Mr Mashiri added that joining Enda Education Cover is easy and convenient. Parents can join individually by dialling *900# on any EcoCash registered line, or by completing a simple form on the EcoSure website. They can also join a Group Cover as a school. The pay-outs start from as low as US$100 per term and cover up to the most expensive private schools in Zimbabwe.
USD Packages and Smart Schools Promotion
Mr Mashiri said that Econet Life recently introduced USD packages on its Enda Education Cover, reflecting the current market trend, where over 85% of local transactions are now US dollar-based. The USD packages have premiums starting from just US$2.50 per month per child, with potential payouts of up to US$6 000 per term.
He also explained the details of the Enda Smart Schools Promotion, which is open to parents who register and pay by 28 February 2024. Lucky parents stand a chance to win school fees vouchers worth US$500, along with an assortment of stationery supplies. Schools that register on group cover stand the chance to win computers and stationery during a draw.
Mr Mashiri said that the promotion is part of Econet Life’s commitment to supporting education in Zimbabwe, especially in the wake of the challenges posed by the global pandemic. “We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to receive an education, regardless of life’s uncertainties. The constant improvement of Enda Education Cover shows our commitment to protecting families and ensuring that the dreams of children remain intact, no matter what challenges life may present,” he said.
Finally, he urged parents and schools to take advantage of the promotion and secure their children’s future with Enda Education Cover, which he described as the “holy grail” of education insurance.
