Tetracore Energy Group is pleased to announce the new appointment of Mr. Dayo Williams, former Programme Executive, as Managing Director, Tetracore Energy Group Subsidiaries.

This appointment reflects the Group’s continued commitment to nurturing leadership excellence and driving innovation across its business divisions in Africa.

In a press release earlier reported by Energy News Africa Plus, Mr. Williams formerly the Programme Executive at Tetracore Energy Group was announced as responsible for guiding the strategic direction, managing operations, and overseeing the expansion of Tetracore Energy Limited, Tetracore Gas Limited, and Tetracore CNG Solutions Limited. His promotion reveals Tetracore’s commitment to strengthening Nigerian leadership in driving the continent’s energy transition.

Oladayo Joins Tetracore with strong background in business development strategy

Mr. Oladayo joined Tetracore Energy Group with a strong background in commercial law and business development strategy. He has over 15 years of experience leading high-value energy transactions across Nigeria’s oil, gas, and power sectors.

Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in coordinating key initiatives within the Group’s energy operations. These efforts have significantly strengthened Tetracore’s footprint across multiple segments of the energy industry.

His achievements include the deployment of a 6.2 mmscfd CNG mother station in Ogun State and the establishment of mini-LNG hubs across key industrial regions. He also supervised the project management of the ongoing 5.2 mmscfd mother station in Tema, Ghana, further expanding Tetracore’s West African presence. In addition, he spearheaded the fast-growing Auto CNG delivery network, which currently supplies Dangote Cement’s CNG trucks, and implemented embedded gas-to-power solutions tailored to the energy needs of Nigeria’s industrial clusters.

Moreover, he leads a team as Deputy Chairman of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry Power Sector Group. In this role, he contributes to national energy policy direction on tariffs, grid decentralisation, and gas-to-power frameworks.

His portfolio also includes advisory work on gas gathering systems, EPC contracts, and long-term Gas Supply Agreements. These initiatives have supported reliable fuel supply for diverse power projects across both on-grid and off-grid sectors.

Notably, his accomplishments include leading commercial due diligence for a million-dollar offshore gas-gathering system. He successfully closed a $10 million CNG mother-daughter network transaction within a period of seven months and also secured Auto CNG supply partnerships with Dangote Cement to strengthen Tetracore’s downstream distribution network. Additionally, he structured a $15 million solar-hybrid IPP whose blended financing model attracted international development partners. Through these efforts, his leadership has been instrumental in advancing Tetracore Energy Group’s market position in Nigeria.

The Group continues to focus on operational efficiency while expanding its footprint across multiple African regions. Its strategic facilities are located in Ogun State, Benin, and Ghana, with a mobile refueling unit operating in Ibese. This network serves Dangote Cement’s industrial operations and reinforces Tetracore’s dominance in the gas trading sector.
